A unique opportunity to hear works by Bernstein, Menotti and Weill in one evening. From "Down in the Valley" to "West Side Story", with a few more surprises.

  • Sammartini: Sinfonia in A.

Pre-concert talk by Jonathan James at 6.45pm in the Leonard Hall. Concert begins at 7.30pm in the church.

Friday 28 November. Bristol Chamber Orchestra.
  • Mozart: Overture to 'The Magic Flute'.
  • Saint-Saëns: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No.3 in B minor.
    (Soloist: Emil Huckle-Kleve.)
  • Beethoven:Symphony No.5 in C minor.

Saturday 6 December. Bristol Concert Wind Band.

Henleaze Concert Society

All seats at Henleaze Concert Society concerts cost £14 to the general public, £12 to Society members and £5 to children and students. Membership of the Society costs £7 a year. This entitles members to one discounted ticket per concert and early booking.

Tickets are available from:

  • Henleaze Post Office, Henleaze Road.
  • PO/Spar Shop, Wellington Hill West.
  • At the door on concert nights from 7.15pm. Doors open for ticket holders at 6.45pm.
