Junior Church

We have a full and lively Junior Church with children and young people from infants up to the age of 18. All are welcome.

Normally the youngsters come into the church service at 10:30 am then go out to their groups after the second hymn.

Sunday 3rd.	Follow the star.	We think about the story of the wise men who followed the star to Jesus.	Matthew 2.1 to 12.
Sunday 10th.	Called by name.	We leave behind the child Jesus and meet Jesus the man at the beginning of his ministry.	Isaiah 43. 1 to 7.
Sunday 17th.	Overflowing.	Jesus's first miracle of turning water into wine reveals the extraordinary person he is.	John 2. 1 to 11.
Sunday 24th.	Enabling spirit.	We think about the story when Jesus read the scripture in the synagogue which said he was the messiah.	Luke 4. 14 to 21.
Sunday 31st.	Led by the spirit.	Jesus is rejected by some of the people who know him.	Luke 4. 21 to 30.

Sunday 21st.	Land of plenty .	A time of plenty and scarcity for the Israelites.	Deuteronomy 26. 1 to 11.
Sunday 28th.	A secure place.	In time of scarcity, in this second week of lent, we recognise the security and protection offered by God.	Psalm 27.

Sunday 21st.	Overwhelming gift.	A story of tenderness. Mary pours perfume over the feet of the Lord.	John 12. 1 to 8.
Sunday 28th.	Praise and passion.	The way of destruction and the way of forgiveness. This is Palm Sunday and the start of Holy week.	Luke 23. 1 to 49.
